Happy birthday to Sal Serio. Thanks from all of us for your contributions to Tommy's legacy.
@ David, that is not Alphonse playing with Benson, it's Harvey Mason I believe. Awesome drummer as well!
I just posted info on our home page about the 2017 Tommy Bolin Celebration to be held in Sioux City on Thursday, December 7. The show will be at The Marquee, which used to be The Chesterfield, home of many great Tommy Bolin events. The core of the New Tommy Band is Stanley Sheldon on bass, Johnnie Bolin on drums and hot newcomer Lucas Miguel Parker on guitar and vocals. They will be joined by other luminaries from Tommy’s past. Here is more info:

Happy birthday to David Givens, bassist for and co-founder of Zephyr. Here they are back in the day on the Barry Richards Show.
The clip of George Benson I saw was him playing Breezin on the Whistle Test. The drummer does look like Alphonse Mouzon. I was in the series Guitar Heroes At The BBC.
Great interview with Glenn Hughes about BCC on Planet Rock last Sunday. Also an interview and free cd in Classic Rock magazine
No worries; thanks for the response, John.
Aussie John, that Northern Lights CD should be come out on Amazon like the LP. I did the packaging work on the LP and CD but I don't know what the the extra tracks are. I asked so I could write better promo but didn't get a response. I think they will be remasters, but Friday is doing well with the audio on that stuff so it should be cool. Sorry I don't have more info.
How long have you been listening to Tommy's Music? over 42 years
What are your favorite Bolin songs? all of 'em
Which Archives CDs do you own? all of 'em
Thanks for the tip, Evan.
I went through the process of pre-ordering the cd; however I cancelled the order due to the unfortunately crazy shipping charge to Australia of USD$44.76 (=approx. AUS$55.00!). I suppose I will wait for ebay or amazon to come up with a better price one day.
I do have the original release and am wondering if anyone on the board here can advise whether the bonus tracks are previously unreleased or remasters? I suspect they will be remasters.

Looks like Friday Music is releasing Northern Lights on CD with 3 bonus tracks. Pre-orders include a signed pic of Tommy and Johnnie autographed by Johnnie.
