Also, if you haven't seen them, I posted photos of Tommy playing with Lynyrd Skynyrd at the La Crosse, WI, Auditorium on September 26, 1976 on the page below. Click on the thumbnails to see larger versions. Photographer John Dohve let me post them with his permission.

I heard that they played "T for Texas." If you don't know that tune there's a link below. I have never heard of a boot of that or of when Tommy sat in with Santana.

I guess it was after Mick Ralphs left. I think Mick Ronson was the eventual pick. Interesting though

I think I might have seen Alphonse Mouzon in George Benson's band around the mid-'70's. It was a Whistle Test clip. If not, the drummer wore a hat like Alphonse and looked like him.

Happy birthday to Trace Keane. Trace put in a lot of hard work making some Bolin Fests and Fan Jams happen, but he also has been instrumental in making many recent appearances by Tommy Bolin in publications such as Hush Magazine and Retrofuture Magazine. Thanks for your efforts, Trace, you've made a huge difference in the Tommy Landscape.

Happy birthday to Art Connor. Art has done so much to keep Tommy Bolin's memory alive. He conducted a phone interview with Tommy that appeared on a TBA CD, and has interviewed other people critical to Tommy's story such as Stanley Sheldon, Jan Hammer and Narada Michael Walden. You can find some of those interviews on on main site at the link below.

Don't know how many are familiar with Ian Hunter formerly of Mott the Hoople, but he answers fans questions on his website. This was one of them

Tony V: ‘What’s the story about you signing an autograph for Tommy Bolin? Dunno. Was he considered for guitarist in MTH at one time?’ His name came up, but certain members only wanted English .
